Lubbock, Texas is Texas Tech Red Raider country, so when I had a stack of black, white, and red scraps it was only natural to make a Texas Tech quilt. This is a small, scrappy design made with 1/2-square triangles, then appliqued with small circles. I quilted in the ditch along the seam lines, but did not go over the circles. I quilted around the circles so they seem to puff out a bit fromthe rest of the design. This quilt was donated to the Lubbock Chapter of Project Linus.

Great design and I love your choice of colors.  I think the appliqued circles really made your quilt POP!  I love it!  Great job for a wonderful charity. Marlene

This is pretty awesome. My son would like something like this. Great job. Love the circles. They look like huge puffy buttons...I like that...
