My third quilt! After a year of quilting, I made this as a gift for my daughter, to help her get through chilly Oxford, UK evenings. Her request was for big simple blocks, made from chirpy spring garden colours. So, if I wanted to get complex, it had to be with the freemotion quilting. Each block has a freehand or stenciled design, from hearts to lighthouses to pine trees (a reminder of our years living in New England).

This is just gorgeous. I love the colors and your quilting brings out the design beautifully. Only your third quilt? Congratulations.
