Fantasy in a fansaty

I Used me DD for the model for this. Originally the fairy was nude, but her father had a fit so I had to fashion her a dress. The moon started out the same color as her skin, but the night sky bled something terrible when I painted the moon-glow on it. I liked the effect, so I left it.

CC - this is really nice.  So we had a "neked" fairy and Dad wanted her dressed.  You did a great job of accomodating him without sacrificing the mood of the quilt.

What a beautiful quilt.  I love to applique but I'am not nearerly that good.

How lovely!  Isn't it amazing how sometimes our "problems", as in your bleeding night sky, turn out to be just what gives the piece its character and uniqueness?  It is as if the piece knows what it needs more than we do, and leads us down the right path.  Great job!
