It now lives in my cubicle at work where I can look at it every day. I used a charm pack of coordinating prints and I purchased it at Walmart. I also used pieces from a Bella Solid charm pack for the white pieces. I used an hourglass pattern and quilted a diagonal crosshatch. The back is a coordinating piece of yardage from the same line. I binded it in black. If you see the piece of binding that is not in black, but in a color, that is where I ran out of binding. That piece is what covers the back of the quilt. I received compliments for what I saw as a mistake and I've not only accepted it, I think I'll make it my quilt signature!

Twister Valentine Table Topper - WIP

I am working on this Valentine Table Topper so I can use my new Twister Tool. I may use it as a wall hanging though. I I am only halfway done as I haven't yet begun to cut the pieces using the twister tool. I just completed the piecing and borders so far. I bought fat quarters in red, pink, and white from Walmart. I bought a pre-cut yard of a black/white print also from Walmart. I used Google to find several pattern references but then arranged the colors to my liking. After I cut them apart and sew them back together I think I will make another border before I bind it but I'm going to wait to see how it looks first.
