I don't mind showing how imperfect my quilting is because I know that every time I practice I might get just a tad better every time. I will never be a show quilter by any means. (I"m bipolar NOT OCD! LOL ) I admire those quilters with the artistic talent and patience it takes to do what they do! They ARE the ones who inspire me to at least try!

I was asked to make this quilt for the Buffalo Chip for their Anniversary. I didn't get any really good pictures of it because I was behind schedule :( but it was the first time I did any kind of thread work with metallic thread :| ... I was NOT a happy camper but it turned out better than I thought it would. The center skull is about 7 different shades of metallic and rayon thread.

A friend and I are starting 'Operation Valor'! It's basically to promote and inspire people to get involved in making Quilts of Valor. Some may not have time for an entire quilt so this is the solution! Feel the Teal

I put this quilt together with blocks made by the Outlaw Quilters and the Feel the Teal Club. It's a co-effort fundraiser for the Teal Club and cancer awareness. We called the quilts the 'Teal Twins' but there will eventually be three of them I will finish the third in the coming months.

She's finished! I was so fortunate to have a fellow QOVer following my progress on this quilt and emailed me and offered to quilt her for me! THANK GAWDDDD!...I was truly worried, and the quilting on this quilt is just amazing! I couldn't have done it on my standard machine! Pics to follow of the quilting!
