This Quilt was done as part of a Bible study, with all of the outside blocks having biblical names and inspiring the studies which preceded the quilting portion of our gatherings. We would meet once a month for about 3 hours. Half hour Bible study and then quilt. It took about a year and a half for everyone to complete their quilts, and although we all did the same blocks, the varying fabrics made for beautiful creations.

This was made for my great niece. It's a far cry from the typical traditional baby quilts I have seen, which is what attracted me to it in the first place. The colors were inspired by the baby's room.
