Made this for the ugly fabric quilt contest and Brian liked it, so it's his birthday present! Might be quilted by Thanksgiving in time for it! Thanks to the Jenny Doanes (sp?) course for showing me how to make the block!

Never did one before! This one folds so you can include fabric scraps for repairs etc. Good ideas from LQS and this website!

Next one will be more organized but couldn't face buttonholes this morning!

Finally finished, the backing quilting and binding took longer than the top! I think it came out great, and I got a good idea for the label from my LQS and this website. See other pictures of the label if you are interested!

Made from Bali pop pack with 40 coordinating strips 21/2" strips 44' long. Are these common or did my quilt shop make up the Bali Pop? Love them!

Very relaxing and peaceful to put together, after the strain of Double Wedding Ring and Hawaiian Applique!

My practice blocks before I try a full sized Hawaiian quilt. I figure by the time I do 12 for a lap quilt, I should be good enough to do one big one!

Love the patterns and look of these types of quilts, I can't wait to have one!

The beginning of Moms Double Wedding Ring

I started this over a year ago, and have almost all of the 96 half circles completed, but I had to put a few together for inspiration so that I can go on.

I like the way it looks so far, and will be calling on you all to help when I hit the snags in putting it together!

This one didn't quite come out like the picture, and the directions were incomprehensible for me being new to this, but it is stll nice and Charles loves it!

The info on interlocking seams in the posts would have been helpful!!! Wish I had known
