This one I made for my best friend while I stayed at her home for a summer before moving back from Arizona. We matched the fabrics to the furniture in her family room. It is machine pieced, but I hand quilted. That summer I got my friend hooked on quilting. I created a monster!!!

Celtic Trinity Knot

I started this quilt at retreat in August 2009. It is all hand applique and hand quilted. The quilting echoes the applique work in the center. It is my first attempt at this type of quilting. If I find the time, I'd love to make another Celtic quilt or wall hanging. It is very time consuming however. It is also one of the first quilts I've done for myself. I mostly quilt for children's charities or my grandchildren.
