I had traced the hand prints of my friend&#39;s daughter and granddaughters and finally had to ask her for her hand print. I told her to ask no questions, but she would find out later. This quilt was the result. At the base of each hand print is a heart with their name and birthdate in machine embroidery. On the back, the label is my hand print. The quilt is machine applique and machine quilted. It is all hand applique and hand quilted. The quilting echoes the applique work in the center. It is my first attempt at this type of quilting. If I find the time, I&#39;d love to make another Celtic quilt or wall hanging. It is very time consuming however. It is also one of the first quilts I&#39;ve done for myself. I mostly quilt for children&#39;s charities or my grandchildren.</div> <p>&nbsp;</p>
