This one I made for my best friend while I stayed at her home for a summer before moving back from Arizona. We matched the fabrics to the furniture in her family room. It is machine pieced, but I hand quilted. That summer I got my friend hooked on quilting. I created a monster!!!

Fall, Pumpkins, Crows

This is a small wall hanging that is in my kitchen. The church I made this one for had a stained glass window of Jesus. They asked me to make a banner for their 50th anniversary with the theme "Keep Telling the Story". The design that popped into my head was that stained glass window of Jesus coming out of a Bible. So here is my rendition. It is all machine applique...Jesus is done in watercolor fabrics, which gave it a stained glass effect. The church was very pleased with the final result.

Fall Sunflowers

This wall quilt hangs in my dining room. It is all hand applique and hand quilted. The quilting echoes the applique work in the center. It is my first attempt at this type of quilting. If I find the time, I'd love to make another Celtic quilt or wall hanging. It is very time consuming however. It is also one of the first quilts I've done for myself. I mostly quilt for children's charities or my grandchildren.
