The printed fabric is of old airplanes; and one of the airplanes is one that my uncle (pictured) flew as a pilot in the US Air Force. However, grandson Noel likes Spiderman. It has a lot of rotary cut pieces that are chain pieced. The quilt is machine quilted. It a great pattern for using up scraps. It&#39;s one of my favorites for charity quilts. For this particular quilt I had four fabrics and just couldn&#39;t think of of another quilt pattern to use. Besides I needed to make it quick. And there are so many ways you can lay out the blocks.
