The printed fabric is of old airplanes; and one of the airplanes is one that my uncle (pictured) flew as a pilot in the US Air Force. This one I made for my best friend while I stayed at her home for a summer before moving back from Arizona. We matched the fabrics to the furniture in her family room. It is machine pieced, but I hand quilted. That summer I got my friend hooked on quilting. I created a monster!!!</p>
