It is for my 7th grandchild, Cora who was born September 12, 2011. The pattern comes from the September/October 2011 McCall's Quilting issue and is called "I Believe in Pink". It is a scrappy quilt using snowball and star blocks. The butterfly flight paths and antennae are hand embroidered. The butterflies and flowers are machine applique on my version. My machine applique is also part of the quilting process. The rest of the quilting is stitch in the ditch to follow the trellis which I extended out into the borders.
