Pattern came from Quilter&#39;s World (Oct. 2003), but it was a Halloween wall hanging. I thought it was so cute. So I added some borders, didn&#39;t use Halloween fabrics,&nbsp;and put Quinn&#39;s birth announcement in the moon. It was a lot of cutting and machine applique, but that is my thing. It is machine quilted with stars. The doll&#39;s name is Faith and she originates from Ashtabula County, Ohio. There is a little poem that goes with her. Each time I make a Faith doll, I put a copy of the poem in the pocket of her apron. Usually if I have enough leftovers from a quilt that I give to a female friend or my granddaughters, on their next birthday or the next Christmas, they will receive a Faith doll. Most of us live in NE Ohio, which is where Ashtabula County is located. So these dolls have a special meaning, plus they match the quilts.</p>
