UFO-Small Redwork Cupie Doll Quilt

This unfinished, nine patch,100% Cotton Redwork Cupie Doll Small Quilt is 27" X 27". I made the redwork blocks while I was laid up in 2002 for 3 1/2 months because of Charcot's which is a complication of diabetes.

This 22" X 26" quilt was paper pieced in 2006. 100% cotton fabric and batting, machine pieced, hand tied.

Small Crumb Quilt

This 100% cotton 12" X 15" little crumb quilt with 3 1/2" blocks was inspired by the internet after a cousin mentioned she loved making crumb quilts. I did not know how they were made so I googled it.

It is paper pieced with random left over pieces of other misfit blocks and small scraps of fabric. It was hand tied when finished. A binding was added.

I made this 19" X 24" Doll Quilt in 2006. 100% Cotton fabric and batting, machine strip pieced with a muslin border. Hand Tied.

Cheater's Cloth Doll Quilt

In 2005, I made several of these little quilts for gifts to give some of my "little Friends". They were cheater fabric's (Pre Printed blocks), machine sewn to a muslin fabric border and Hand tied.

Another Little quilt, 18" X 25", inspired by random old quilt blocks given to me from my Aunt Melva. Blocks were probably from an auction her daughter had gone to, Marsha, who passed away too young from breast cancer. Machine sewn, Hand tied.

Crazy quilt in 1920's doll cradle

The cradle quilt was posted here previously. It was asked to see the cradle. This was made for my Mother who is now 84 years old by her Grandpa Issac Meyers. There was no special occassion for this special gift he made in the late 1920's.

I made this 22 X 28 little quilt from some random old quilt blocks an Aunt gave me. She did not make the blocks but were obtained thru an auction. I was able to make 6 little quilts and lots of small pillows from the assorted blocks she gave me.

Crazy Doll Quilt

I made this 23 X 29, 100% cotton, machine pieced, hand embroideried, hand tied, little quilt for a late 1920's doll cradle my Mother Betty Phillips gave me. She was born September 29, 1927. It was made for her by her Grandpa Issac Meyers. He made it for no specific occassion. This would have been my Mother's, Mother's, Father.

I also made a thin "mattress", and small pillow and sheet set to go with the cradle. I love the look with this special cradle! The quilt is NOT crooked, it just needed ironing from being in the cradle.
