I was planning on a birthday quilt that was about cars and trucks 'cause he loves those but his sister said it had to be something brighter! he loves to play all the "old" games like ludo and chinese checkers and snakes and ladders. it was a no brainer really. I used cotton fabric, various coloured threads for the applique and invisible thread for the quilting, keeping it simple.

feathers in the foliage

I love the leafy print in this quilt.I made the design myself. Its 100% cotton fabric and batting and made on my home machine.
