I also love santa and have many, many santas around the house at Christmas. I modified the santa for applique from an old christmas present tag and simply quilted stars around the background. Really easy and quick to make. I made the brick wall thinking to put graffiti on it, something wild and urban, but I saw my wisteria flowering on my verandah and wisteria wall it became. Sometimes i think quilts make themselves!
