Think Bright Sunshine Yellow! I used variated cotton thread in primary colors on both the top and back and really like the way it shows up on the back. It doesn't show so much on the front since I stitched in the ditch. This is a donation quilt for a man in an alzheimer's care center.

Flannel lap Quilt

This is the first lap quilt I quilted on my DSM. I stitched in the ditch around all the squares. The quilting job wasn't perfect, but I was more than pleased with it as my very first machine quilting attempt. The quilt is flannel on both the front and the back, with a very thin cotton batting. Very heavy and very warm! I named this quilt The Blue Baboon Quilt because there are blue, orange, and yellow baboons in one of the prints. Other prints include multi-colored jungle animals, and brightly colored parrots.
