The contest theme was Alliances: People, Patterns, Passion. The title of my quilt is &quot;As it was in the beginning&quot; and here is part of what I wrote with my entry,&nbsp; &quot;What greater alliance than between God and man. God&#39;s hand is from Michelangelo&#39;s Creation of Adam. The human hand was traced from&nbsp; my granddaughter&#39;s hand. This alliance is never-ending--hence the circle.&quot; </p>
