The contest theme was Alliances: People, Patterns, Passion. The title of my quilt is &amp;quot;As it was in the beginning&amp;quot; and here is part of what I wrote with my entry,&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;What greater alliance than between God and man. God&amp;#39;s hand is from Michelangelo&amp;#39;s Creation of Adam. The human hand was traced from&amp;nbsp; my granddaughter&amp;#39;s hand.
