I made this lap quilt for a dear friend in Montana.&nbsp; She loves turtles and the outdoors.&nbsp; The blues and greens in the quilt made me think of&nbsp; a mountain lake.&nbsp; This was my first attempt at paper piecing and I really enjoyed the process. The pattern is Shell We Dance from Java House Patterns.</p>
