I made it for my terminally ill nephew. He has since passed away. We called him sunshine and his smile and laugh was infectious. That is why I chose the design and the material has little smile face suns on it. I stitched in the ditch to quilt it and went around the J appliques. This may be the nicest quilt I have made to date.
