This is an owl quilt that I am making for my next grandchild. Since her parents want to be surprised with the sex of the child they have asked that I design a quilt that can be appreciated by either a boy or girl child.

This is a backpack that I designed with 4 mandalas (one on each side.) These were digitized, appliqued and embroidered. I made up the designs and pattern of this bag for my granddaughter. I used a waterproof fabric and a lot of quilting/embroidery to make this bag last for a lot of use.

This quilt has taken me about 18 months to make after the idea swished around in my head for a few years. The window is digitized, appliqued and embroidered. Around that is my rendition of the street scene of the Via Dolorosa in the form of quilt lines. on either side I quilted palm leaves from palms in my yard as patterns. I absolutely loved making this quilt.
