It has the solar system appliqued/embroidered to scale. Around that I appliqued the planets with embroidered surfaces to reflect that of the planet. My grandson did the research for the planets rotation, orbit and surface qualities which I embroidered under each planet. Around the edge are&amp;nbsp; constellations with many of the stars named.
