This is the last king in the quilt, it will next go to Mary and then Christ. It is truly a labor of love. Those ancient artist have given me a great deal to work with.

This is a quilted, embroidered mask designed by my 5 year old

grandson. I tried to keep the essence of his art in the swirling

embroidery and the the colors consistent with his original crayon

drawing. He actually wore this last year--I can't wait to see what

he wants this year.

Solar System Quilt

This is a quilt that I made for my grandson. It has the solar system appliqued/embroidered to scale. Around that I appliqued the planets with embroidered surfaces to reflect that of the planet. My grandson did the research for the planets rotation, orbit and surface qualities which I embroidered under each planet. Around the edge are constellations with many of the stars named. On each corner are the phases of the moon.
