It's a strip work of Jınney Beyer' s.I loved to work and enjoy the strıps.I imagine a night under the treesand shimming the moonlight.I also used thread play and hand applique.

The little blond angle lid a candle in her hand.It ıs machine quilted.

It’s made up of over 900 pieces attached each other by hand .Regional fabric are used from east part of Turkey.It’s hexagon shaped table .Its frame and legs are real wood.

Apple core pattern is stitched and quilted by hand.I used old and new velvet ,silk, 'meydaniye' (a kind of Turkish fabric), necktie.I love to use Japanese folded flowers garnished with beads. I also used ribbon work. I also made a patch necklace to complete my shawl using old metarial and fabric.It smells authentic,I think.

My Family's Memories

I collect all hand made laces and oya's and emboideries from my family and joined thm under this wallhang .All accesories also my family's. Some from my mother'grandmother.some from my grandmother,some from my mother,My husband's family.Shortly,they are all from four generations.I put Fatima's hand on the top to protect us from 'bad eyes'.I love ıt very much.I hope you also enjoy with it.

It's also awarded by the international jury at Altınoluk Quilt Festival.

It's special designed and made by hand.It's made by using Turkish nattive fabric(MEYDANİYE produced in the east region of Turkey named Gaziantep).Ottoman designs are used and appliqued by hand also using Turkish fabrics.
