Beach Cabin Wall-hanging

A thank you gift to friends for letting us use their beach cabin on the Oregon Coast, Summer 2012.

Mini-Log Cabin fish blocks done with help from Judy E (Enumclaw, WA) at the QCA Leavenworth Retreat Oct 2012, set-in triangle fabric with beach motif is fabric purchased in Massachusetts while visiting New England later in October 2012. Scallop motif quilting in set-in triangles was done with embroidery machine, FMQ stippling around the motif. Stitch in the ditch for the rest of the quilt to let the fish blocks stand on their own. Goose Tracks Embroidery Quilt

This is an embroidery quilt pattern from Hoop Sisters done as a BOM with the "local" quilt store in Omak, WA. I started in July 2011 and finished in September 2012. It was a challenge, but I do love the result.

Wedding Pillow

This custom wedding pillow was made as a gift for Mother/Daughter friends as a momento for the daughter's wedding. It was used in their wedding and, of course, the ring-bearer was swinging it by the ribbons on the way down the aisle...LOL.
