This quilt is just a quick little sketch. I've included a snapshot I took a few years ago so you can see that we really do have sunsets like that here. I made the wallie for a friend who showed my DD some kindness last week.

I Used me DD for the model for this. Originally the fairy was nude, but her father had a fit so I had to fashion her a dress. The moon started out the same color as her skin, but the night sky bled something terrible when I painted the moon-glow on it. I liked the effect, so I left it.

I made this wallhanging last summer. It's now on display in an art gallery near here. Someday maybe somebody will buy it.... :S
