I made this for DD when we moved to a new house. The kids ended up having to share a bedroom, so I commisioned a friend to make them bunkbeds. He's notoriously slow about finishing jobs, so to speed him up and make it fun, I bet him that I could finish two, custome designed, quilts to go on it before he could make the beds. I won...with 3 days to spare. LOL

Dragon Star

I did this Lonestar (sometimes called Morning Star) for my DS1 a couple of years ago. He picked out a funky dragon print and asked me to make him a "Firey" quilt. I'd just finished making his sister's Lonestar, so I made his with the same pattern. I added flame appliques and a stary sky print on the inner border. It's backed with bright green flannel.
