i used this quilt to try leah days' quilting technique for last week. quilting in rows. it worked great. i wish you could see the quilting in the center, it turned out really nice. the rest is stipple, my old stand-by. it is 49x49, without the binding. patti, does it need to binding on to count as a finished quilt?

this is 56.5 x 32" i was so happy with the mctavising, then spoiled it with the center star. i shouldn't experiment when i don't know what i'm doing.

FInally done! I wanted to use all my originally purchased fabric, so I had to piece the back because I didn't have enough.

1975 Sampler Quilt

This sampler quilt was my "starter" quilt - the first quilt I ever worked on. It was started in 1975 and I used red, white and blue as a color scheme. The plan was to have it finished for the 1976 bicentennial. It has been packed away and taken out so many times, I have lost count. There are only three blocks left to hand quilt and then bind it.

My first attempt at turning a quilt into a Roman Blind. This is from my Fall Fabric Swap 2 years ago. My DH made the bracket to hold it and DS is helping get it to fold up properly.

Okay - I am back to working on a shop hop quilt from 2009 - it is a large quilt about queen size - I am down to working on the center section where I have to put flowers in a basket... after I get the flowers done I will be putting it all together and be done... yippeee!

Hi, I made this little 6 x 6 piece of patchwork with some leftover scraps of fabric. What can I do with this? Any suggestions? I don't have much of the fabric left -- maybe enought to make one more block the same size. If you have any good ideas about how to finish my UFO I'd love to her them. QCA Liz S.
