I love your quilt.
Thank you for all the nice comments. It is still growing on me. The blocks didn't turn out as planned so the flowers were added to brighten it up. still washed out to me.
Robin:I finished the hand piecing my Bento Box
Robin - very nice quilt. Looks like it would have been fun to make.
Kris:Pretty table runners Marge.
Patti:Marge, the table runner is very nice. Like the pattern and the quilting.
Thanks, Patti - also a stash buster challenge sounds fun. Being as i am trying to be very good and since Christmas have only bought fabric once from Quit in a Day - I will buy more in May when my son sends me a GC from Fabric.com - so 99% of my fabric is definitely from my stash (and some of it is eons old) and it would be nice to use some of it. I even have a good postal scale that i could weigh stuff on. :-)
Robin:I love your runners.
Thanks, Robin - sure feels good to get something done even if they are small.
Wendy :This quilt is from some material I bought on the Shop hop last June.
I love your quilt, Wendy. The use of the ric-rac is really nice also. Who would have thought ric-rac trim of many years ago would make a reappearance in quilting. I love it.
Do my point totals include Happy Trails UFO #3? I just posted it to the media section and on a thread. I'll put it in this note also. It's 103 x 103.
mimi, this is stunning. way to go
patty the jungle quilt is 62x73
gini in north idaho
Thanks so much. I have never done anything this big before.
scene I haven't been awarded any points. Does that mean that I was too late to join this round?
your quilt looks so good on that bed.
Mimi, that is a wonderful quilt. The tally does not include this quilt, I will definitely be adding points for this.
Wendy, a before and after picture are required of the UFO to get points. But at this time, it doesn't matter so much as it would be very hard to catch up with the first 4 contestants. There are only prizes for the first 3.
I went back and read the rules . I understand.
Kris:your quilt looks so good on that bed.
Thanks Kris. I didn't have wall space big enough to hang it up so I thought our bed would be the best place to show the quilt.
