Thanks for the tutorial on your great quilt and congratulations on your placement in the challenge. Great job to Nana and Gini too. For that matter congrats to all who finished at least one UFO. That's a great accomplishment. I have started to complete two more UFO's just this week. What a wonderful idea to jump-start this procrastinator.

First I love your scrap quilt. How big is the biggest square? I would love to make one from my scraps. I can see the block but need some dimensions.

Mimi, I cut a stack of 6" squares. Then I cut some in half, and some in fourths so I had 6x6, 3x6 and 3x3" pieces. You could use any size squares.

I sewed them together like this, rotating them so I only had to match the corners of the blocks.

Thanks Kris! I think I'm going to give it to my in-laws as they have a tiny cabin in the Poconos. They used to go up for Thanksgiving every year.

Second, no I didn't sew all day. Just when I wasn't eating a meal or using the facilities. LOL DH worked until 11:00 PM so the day was pretty free.

Mimi, great job, you got one more quilt top done. Did you sew all day?

I was busy today too. My kids are out on spring break so it's a lot harder to find time to sew this week. I was determined to get this scrappy quilt quilted by the deadline and it looks like I had 5 hrs to spare. Guess I could have sewn that binding a little slower!

Here's the one I completed just this week It seemed tiny compared to Happy Trails, only 60 x 74. It's name is Autumn at the Cabin. Hope to start quilting some of these tops soon.

Thanks Patti for sponsoring the challenge. It really motivated me. I think 5 quilt tops in three months is pretty good especially since I hold down a full time job. Great job everyone. Keep finishing those UFO's.
