Remember one at a time, or only the one you are currently working on.
Back in 2010, I think it was, a lot of us did Jodie's BOM. For several reasons I put it aside. I got it out today. It is my first attempt at quilt as you go. I have the center put together and partially quilted. I think I have all of the blocks put together as well. It is time to finish this. It is a king which is why I decided to try the QAYG. So, this weekend I will get all the parts out and see just what I have to do to get it finished. Colors are off as usual, but it is bright.
wonderful Pat.. this is really pretty.. Cant wait for the finished product...WTG
Pat I’m looking forward to your finished project.
Here's my first UFO I'm working on. A charity quilt top, made it at least 3 years ago I think. Now it's time to get it quilted! It's 48x48"
Very pretty Jacy. If you stay on olan you are going to walk awa
I meant plan not olan.
The gremlins are at work this morning. Both of my posts got error messages then posted anyway. The first post did not post completely. I will try one more time.
Jacy, your quilt is very pretty. If you stay on plan then you will walk away with first prize this year!
Pat Lancaster:If you stay on plan then you will walk away with first prize this year!
I should be exempt from prizes this year, I've won my share in this group!
Nice quilt Jacy.
I'm still working on increasing my pile of tops. Maybe I will alternate. My first UFO will be the quilt top with the leaf blocks from our first Leavenworth retreat. I was cleaning/organizing my sewing room, and trying to consolidate. Well I uncovered a big plastic tote and the only thing in there was the pieces of that quilt. I stopped working on it at the retreat that year as it was turning out to be much bigger than I thought. Well, I knew the numbers, that is how many inches, but my brain just doesn't see it. I thought then, that I'd do something else with it. but no, it's too far along. I don't want to undo what I did. My goal is to finish the top tomorrow. I have no other distractions.
Then I have another quilt, my flannel bear quilt that is half quilted. That will be the next project. Maybe I will alternate completing a top, and quilting a top, not necessarily the one just completed.
Well, my disorganization has spread from the sewing room to the bed room and the hall way. I need to make a path and clear off the bed so I can sleep. I'll post a photo tomorrow of the UFO.
Pat, your quilt is going to be so bright and cheerful. Good thing to work on during the winter.
OK, here it is. As I was putting it up, I realized that it is BIG. So I am reducing the number of blocks, taking out one row of blocks. This just shows what the blocks will look like, and all the various leaves that were made.
Patti, I recognize those blocks! I have mine all constructed but haven't layered it yet, over 100" square if I remember rightly.
I love your layout.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
My leaf quilt needs to be finished too. I sewed the blocks together and thought I would make a fancy border. But I haven't yet. I should just add a plain border so I can get it quilted.
I almost forgot to post a photo of my completed UFO......It's not a UFO anymore!
