I'm going to continue working on the Grandma's Flower I posted in January. It will probably be December before I finish the top but the project is at least making me get it out and work on it.
Patti: This is my submission for the February 2013 challenge. It is a Sudoku quilt, started Jan 2012. Three of the sudoku blocks are pieced and sewn into the first row. All pieces for the remaining blocks are cut and are in the ziplock bags shown at the top of the quilt. I plan to add a border, but haven't decided yet what it will be.
NinaK, this will be gorgeous when you finish!

Very pretty. Get'er Done!
ok, this is my OBW octagon I started in 2009, I think it was. All the blocks are done, just need to add the corners to square them up and sew together in rows. I want to enter this one in the State Fair in September. I also have enough material for the backing. just haven't decided what the border will be yet.
these are the octagon blocks...
first four rows are done... color is not the best
this is the original material and I have enough for my backing, as well. bought 6 yds.

Debbie, your OBW is gorgeous! You picked a great fabric to get those designs. Good luck at the fair, bet it will be a hit!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Debbie, I see a winner at the fair!
Debbie, your OBW is beautiful! Can't wait to see it finished. Good luck at the State Fair, it will do very well.
Patti et al,
here's my February UFO. I made this a few years ago from a tutorial in the "Crazy Mom Quilts" blog. She named it "Movin' on Up. I used Tonga Treat Squares (Timeless Treasures' version of a layer cake) in Blueberry Pie colourway with a solid Kona cotton. DH says it's too small so I'll have to come up with something to add to it. I have something in mind but will have to play with it some. I only used half the treats so I have more to work with.
I like it Kris, very pretty, love the fabrics!
Beautiful colors and fabrics Kris. ;-)
Debbie, your OBW quilt is stunning, definitely needs to be finished!
Kris, I really like your UFO, love your color combos.
Here's my Feb UFO, same one I worked on in January. I have the top completed as far as the original pattern but I'm going to add some kind of border, it needs to be a little bigger to fit a double bed.
oops, I forgot the photo!
