Well I'm waiting for Patti's answer on the binding question. I did complete the quilting on one of my UFO's almost today minus the borders and binding. Hence the reason why the question was asked. I suck at binding sometimes lol. Good thing I am not entering any quilting shows in the near future for the moment. Plus I have plans to finish the blocks for the garden twist quilt and then piece the blocks together to complete the top by the end of this week. Lol still lots of catching up either way it goes to even come close now to third place roflmao.

I finished my last snowman block!

Here's all 12 blocks together.

Now to make them into a quilt top!

Very cute. If you want you could add fabric panels from winter or christmastime in there as well. If not just add sashing or not lol. Or just borders even. Very cute love it. I am putting my diagonal rows together of the garden twist quilt together until I hear back from Patti on the binding question. That way I will have 20 points lol instead of 0 but I will feel a sense of accomplishment in that I earned some points lol. Even if nowhere close to being third etc.

These are so cute.  Love the little cottages.  Going to be beautiful when you have it completed.

I finished quilting one block in my MQ3. I feel like I made a GIANT step forward on this thing. I started it on the frame took it off ripped out the stitches. Tried FMQ the regular way after pin basting - ripped that out. Decided to hand quilt and - you guessed it - ripped that out. I'm back to sewing the regular way and I think I finally have what I want to do with it.

Perhaps there will be progress...

LOL Kris. That is probably why so many of my quilts are not fmqed etc or quilted yet. Because I have not decided on the pattern of quilting to use for most of them. Especially I am keeping themself it seems harder that way lol as the person I am making the quilt for I know what they usually like or I can do something that will please them.

I have sewn four of my diagonal rows together when I reach 7 it means I have hit the half way mark lol and then reverse what I have been doing for the bottom half of the quilt. It seems I have more squares of fabric that are 75-100% floral then the 50-75% floral the quilt calls for maybe I didn't fussy cut good enough lol. Oh well it will be beautiful when finished anyway :) I can't wait to see all the rows put together and post a picture of it here for you guys to see.

Carey,

I believe my quilts tell me what they want when it comes to quilting. Some speak up tight away and other just stay silent. This one is stubborn, i doesn't want what I want. LOL. I really disappointed in my progress with my WIPs

Looking forward to your photos.

Well I just ended up with echoing the diamonds that the pinwheels made and general swirls and stippling. I think the quilt knew I didn't know much about fmq lol. And said it will be fine just make me pretty :). You might not be able to see the quilting as it was with white thread.

I can feel this top saying its about time she is finishing me lol. But its not talking about the quilting design yet the garden twist one. Here is a picture of the garden twist quilt 50% pieced rows -1 row. Row 6 I attached tonight just now. I was trying to see if my printer had a port that would work with camera card but nope. So still a web cam picture. :) But better than nothing  say.

Carey, I love your garden twist, I have one about half quilted.  It's a fun pattern.
