Tattinglady I have no idea who makes the red/pink fabric that I used in this block. It was just something I had in my stash. Your block is very pretty.

Wow, y'all's blocks are just beautiful! Gini, yours has such soft hues, I love it! Nana, your block just pops out! Michelle, your browns are so soothing to look at. Kris, your block is very pretty, and Marilyn, I love that purple!! This block was tricky to make, I'd never done anything like it. It does turn out good though! Fun to make!

Remember I'm going for the darker blocks. I love the pink fabric you used Nana. Who makes that? I usually try to keep the name on the selvage until the very last and even keep them for awhile in case I need some more. By the way, I did the piecing. I didn't see the option to applique until I was finished with the block. Y'all can tell I worked very fast last week!

Michelle, I could've just used your block and not had to make one! Your colors would fit well in my group. I love the purple too. Purple is one of my favorite colors. Gini, you really threw me for a minute. I always go to the beginning of each thread to see what y'all have done before posting mine. I remember seeing that pattern in

our blocks yet to do so I guess we'll get there!!

All the blocks are so different! I love them all. Some are bright and some are more subdued. They are all terrific!

You girls tickle me. I never thought about using purple on this block and I have several purples that I'm using now! I guess I was working so quickly last week that I just saw a block that looked rather easy and just did it! I won't be doing it over because I should've used the purple!!!

It's amazing how the different fabrics work on this block! With certain colors you see the corners, others you see the points. Just fascinates me how the colors work. Here's my block.

Michelle I think you used one of my fabrics on this piece just as I did but mine is blue. These are two of the fabrics that my daughter really likes and she chose these fabrics for this block.
