Here it is, my Furbaby quilt. The ladies of group 5 outdid themselves. The final product is so perfect, it makes me smile every time I look at it. They each added to the center while maintaining the theme beautifully! My center block is based on the "Scottie Dog" block (my baby is a black yorkie/maltese mix) which I expanded on by putting him in the yard with his dog house and tree. He loves wearing neck-kerchiefs so its a perfect picture of him.
1st border by Nana starts with the black/purple/black and finishes with the black/red checkerboard of doggie bones and paw prints.
2nd border by Kathy starts with the black/purple the the "I love my dog" print finished with adorable embroidered scotties in the corners.
3rd border by Jodie is the trail of purple on blue paw prints framed in black strips
4th border by Barbara is the centered scottie dog appliques and scottish tartan to finish of the quilt.
Thank you so much ladies, I cannot imagine how it could possibly have turned out better!
