Jackie, I'm not in your group, but glad you're feeling calmer. But why the stress to finish this first border because we have a week and a half more before it has to be mailed out. Unless your company will be here until the end of the month. I've been fabric shopping, and looking at ones in my stash, know what I want to do, but haven't started to put it together yet. But I'm sure it will be done by the 28th or 29th. Be cool, have fun.

Jackie, I'm sorry that you were so stressed working on my border. I'm sure you are doing just fine with it. Now that you've gotten the first one done the next ones will be less stressful. Relax and enjoy your company and house cleaning is just the dirty side of company coming. LOL
I have officially finished the first border on La Shawn's center!! It was a long 8 days but I am really pleased with it. I hope now my nerves are settled and I don't have anymore melt downs...LOL Now to clean up my sewing area and get ready for the next border.....ideas are already floating around in my head!

Hi ,everyone, I am going to go spend a few days At Thea's to work on getting several of my quilts sandwiched so I can get them quilted. I will be checking in often so if I'm late at getting back with you ,hang in there I'll get it. We are also going to go to OKC ,to meet Kelli and visit a couple of shops .. Oh what fun. Erin, you work fast girl. I'm still in the design phase on Zsofia's but will start cutting and sewing this weekend. Once I get it cut out it will move along quickly. Glad you aren't stressed any longer.

Well, remember Maggie, I got La Shawn's center on January 8th, she sent it early because of family business. It took me 8 straight days of working on it to get it finished. I don't work so I was able to work 2 hours or 22 hours if I wanted ;) My center was finished the end of November, I was ANXIOUS...lol And technically we still have until the end of the month to send centers on and I believe the second round we'll all be working together because we'll all be caught up! Have fun with Zsofia's center!

I finished with my first center and thought I'd practice some things to do on the next one. Good thing, I haven't gotten one to come out great yet. ( I was doing my scant on the wrong side of the line)now that I figured that out, I'll keep at it until I get it right, then cut my good fabric.
