Interesting.  I replied to this this morning and it doesn't appear here.  There must be a gremlin at work!

My response was :  Quiet, but efficient.

Very cool, Judi!  I will let you know when I get it.

I'm still working on yours.  The stitching is going much slower than I anticipated.  But I should have it done by the end of the week.

Judi:

We must be the quietest group!

Judi, I think you have that one right. Why aren't we talking more?

Ok, Roxanna, I'll be waiting for it. I'll be mailing yours to Kerry this weekend. I hope you will like what I did to you .LOL

I think that the MQ9 has taken up a lot of our time this week, it has for me. Still need 49 squares.

Ugh...life is in the way of my quilting.  Last night I just couldn/t get my eyes to focus on my thread, so I had to put my hand sewing down.  Roxana--I may be a bit delayed in getting Judi's block to you.  I was really hoping that my machine would be back so I could do it there, but no such luck.  I haven't even heard if they CAN fix it or not!  And I'm terrified by how much it's going to cost me....

No sewing tonight, either.  I have an Avon meeting and then have to get my granddaughter's hair up in curlers for her school pictures tomorrow.  Ugh...can I just take a day off for me???

That's always the way isn't it?  I always think that is why getting to work on something feels so good :)

I think that's why quilting is such good therapy!

I hope what I did was okay.  It is hard to figure what someone else that you really don't know might like!

It looks fine.  And I understand your note. I looked at the notes & the block...my brain is working, albeit slowly with the hand sewing I still have to do.

Please cross your fingers and say a prayer that they can fix my machine.  It's likely going to run me $200, but I know it soooo well, and it's ALL mechanical--no electronics to worry about.  If they can't fix it, I'm sunk for a while longer since the machine I am currently using can't even do a zig-zag, only straight stitches.

I really think you have to let the quilt speak to you.  A lot of times people don't think they like something, but once a quilt is finished are amazed at the overall impact.
