Judi--I received your block today.  Now, I just need to look at it a bit to see what I can add to the peaceful feeling.

Susie, part of the reason I never made this block was that I just didn't know what to do with it. Considering that I have the block that I didn't like the colors, I guess I will eventually figure something to do with it!

Roxanna, the light bulb finialy came on this morning and I now know what I want to do with your block. Now to see if I have enough of one color or if I need to make a    trip to shop.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you have enough unless of course you want to shop! LOL! ... I'm still waiting for the real light to go off on Susie's center... The dim light has given me some ideas that I can mull around.

I have a question. Does the first border set the tone for the Round Robin? Have I put too much pressure on myself? This is my first one so I was just wondering.

In my limited RR experience, the round you add only sets the space for the next round.  As they progress, you want to take all the rounds into account--but mostly the center.

Please don't stress too much over mine!  I wanted it to be fun!

Thanks, Susie. I'm not stressing and all of the ideas I have are fun... I just think there's another out there that's lingering in the design dimension space that might be more fun! LOL!

We are sure a quiet group!  I hope that just means that the creative juices are running hot!

I missed one piece in my booklet.  If you would like to do something "off the wall" with my block & UN-center the center, I would love it.  I wasn't quite sure how to put that in my concept booklet.  But my thinking comes from the lovely log cabins I hvae seen where the center seems to be more off in one of the corners and not in the middle.

So...if one (or even more of you) would like to odd-ball it, I am good with that.  Does that make sense, or have I completely confused y'all?

It makes sense to me but then I'm working on your border this weekend! I have printed the email I received listing your post and will include it in the packet I send on to Bonita. Thanks for the post.

Roxanna, I finished the border on your center today. Just need to write in your journal and sign the label.

Kerry, let me know when you're ready for it. Thanks.

I took Judi's with me over the weekend, but didn't bring the one part I needed to get started.  Dang it!  So...tonight's plan is to clear my cutting table a bit so I can get a start on it.  I know I still have time, but need to get moving on it!

We must be the quietest group!  I finished my border today!  It will be in the mail tomorrow, so Susie, look for it.
