Boy Beverly, you are quick and efficient! I am working steadily on my current border. I traveled to Jacksonville to get advice from my local quilt shop, if you call 1.5 hour drive local-we have no quilt stores in Gainesville :(. Anyway, I have a plan and I am in the middle of it so I won't be done for a couple of weeks as applique is harder for me than piecing.
Could you wait to send the top until the week of the 18th? That would be super and I should either be done or very close.

I received the two tops from the Group 4 gals yesterday. I will work on the one that screamed at me first while I wait for the other one to talk to me. Currently, it's hanging on the wall in my cubicle at work looking at me cross-eyed. Kind of like the look you get from a cranky mom who caught you doing something wrong. LOL!
Christine--will you please check to see if you still have the label for the one you sent me? It wasn't in the packaging.

Jodie, there is a quilt shop in Trenton that's 45 minutes from Gainesville. There's also one in Ocala. Much closer than driving to jacksonville. Just FYI.

I have been to the quilt store in Trenton several time over the years and to the one in Ocala twice now. But the one in Orange Park is the one that my sister and I meet at as she lives in Georgia. I travel up, she travels down and we meet kinda in the middle.
I like the ones in Trenton and Ocala but I 'know' the owners of the one in Orange Park since we always go there when we get together. Plus my sister also quilts so we compare and yack about quilts. We have our big quilts quilted by Bob from the Orange Park quilt store.
I wish we still had a quilt store in Gainesville and/or Alachua. I miss being able to stop by on a whim to fondle the fabrics!

Candace i did finally receive Sue's top on Saturday. When you added what you did, it blew my idea out the door. I have to shop for material and try to decide on what I'm going to do for a border.
