Sue Jones:

Ladies in my group I have a little problem. I am leaving for my cruise this weekend and then have to go to KS for my brother-in-law's funeral so I won't be home til after the 20th. I can not get my fabric and the border done before I leave. Will this cause a big problem? If so I will see if my local quilt shop can do it for me?

Thanks

Sue J

I received Erin's quilt top from Zsofia today. It is beautiful and I'm excited about working on it.

Sue,

I see no worries being a part of your group. Although, My quilt top will be the one being sent to you with someone picking up your mail, so I will worry until I hear that you have it safely. I'd almost want Melissa to keep it and mail it when you're bac home.

Sue, I think my quilt center should be held by Melissa until Sue gets back, so my quilt doesn't get lost. That would be sad.

Candis/Barbara,

I got Sue's center today the 8th of February. This gives me less than one week until the 15th mailing day. I work too out of town three days a week, so I will do my best to get it done and mailed  off to Pat.

Hi Candis,

Do I get two weeks, since I did not receive Sue's quilt center from Liz, until tonight, the 8th of February? I just saw that Sue and Liz will be out of town and this will delay our borders further, which I don't mind, but I want to make sure my quilt does not get lost, ( which Melissa was told to send along when she is done), even though Sue will not be home. I am worried that something could go wrong.

I'd rather Melissa kept my quilt top until Sue is home, or almost home before mailing.

Have a great day!

Liz,

Beautiful border, Sue will love what you added. It looks great! I love the colors, too.  I am thinking about what to add. I always wanted to make a Bear-Paw block, and now I will have to add that to my list.

Yes Candace if it takes two weeks then of coarse take it. But if you can take a day to do it then maybe you won't need the whole  two weeks.  No worries, just keep me posted please.

I would rather hang on to it until Sue gets home also. I would feel more comfortable about that. I should be done with it in about 4 days; however, I will wait for Sue. I sure hope you like what I have added.

Hi Candis & Barbara,

I will do my best to get Sue's center done and off to Pat ASAP, but I have only two non-working days at home and one is our 27th Anniversay, Valentine's Day. That leaves me with one day, (tomorrow) with all the other things to catch up on too, than off to work, (travelling) this week. I will aim for this Sunday to work on it and Monday, I hope.

Thanks for helping to relieve my anxiety about how much time I will have. And, thank you so much for all the time you are putting into the RR3, as well as Barbara.
