I have checked in with my girls (just now) via PM, but am also just checking in here to touch base. I expect to finish up my 3rd border over the weekend and have it in the mail to Ginny L on Monday.
Thank you, Barbara, for taking over the RR and seeing to it's completion. While I haven't had anything to work on in a LONG time, I do want to try another RR next fall and hope that it goes as it is supposed to. While I am anxious for another shot at it, please don't rush fall--I'm still buried up to my neck in snow (NO JOKE) and am looking forward to my gardening time--and also having a chance to dye lots more fabric in my front yard. I will post from time to time just to keep in touch.

Please post pictures of your dyed fabric! I would love to see this. I'm actually going to a tie dye party this Saturday. :)

EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Hi all I'm just checking in to let you know I'm still here. Have all the green pieces cut and stitched together, will add the yellow tonight, then just have to do the pink pieces. Just got so caught up in making these blocks that I cut out enough for 40 blocks instead of just the 20 I needed. Well I'll just have a jump start on another quilt. We have named the quilt the pink lemonade quilt. It is just so spring looking, makes you feel good just looking at it. Can hardly wait for mine to get back so I can see it. This has been tough because they have been so pretty I just want to show everyone. Enjoy everyone and thanks Barbara for holding this together. I want to put my name on the list for this fall.
Brenda.....u sound like me, when I finished my border 4 Zsofia's & had so much fabric left over, I made a quilt for myself from it and sent extra fabric with the whole thing to the next person in case she found she needed to make any adjustments. I also want to sign up for the fall....Melissa? Can't wait to see what everyone did and hoe they like what I did!
Hi all I will post a place to sign up for the fall RR once we get this one finished up . I want to do some adjusting of the rules and make what I hope will be some much better changes to this group. so just be patience with me and I'll get it all together for y'all. This will give all us a chance to work on a center this summer and we will be good a ready for the fall project. Barbara

Great! My creative juices have really been stirred by doing this RR. Will have to plan something much more challenging than I did this one. have learned a lot from this experience and I hope I'm a better quilter for it. Am I getting better, Thea?

Well, we are back from Florida! We clocked 3,000 miles and I'm exhausted but enjoyed my first long bike trip. I have hours of catchup to do on here since I didn't touch the Internet for almost a week and a half. I had no idea how much prep work it would take for a long bike trip. I took hand appliqué work with me and didn't touch it one time. I was so tired. By the time evening came I was out like a light. I stopped at two Quilt shops in Georgia that were wonderful. Yes, I spent money. LOL It's like manure, if you don't spread it nothing grows. ;-)

lashawng23: LaShawn Erin had messaged me after her top was in the mail and asked me to just send it back to her. I think she was feeling somewhat guilty over everything that had taken place in other groups. I told her if that was what she wanted I would send it to her but I would be placing my border before sending it back to her. I really think she was just really upset with all that had transpired and didn't want to make things worse. I know that you would have gladly done her border but if it helps her to feel better I will honor her wishes.

"Fabricologist Resource Center" ...now doesn't that sound more impressive than "fabric stash" ?
Candace,
Sent you a PM.
Well, I'm just checking in. I have no top to work on this time but I'm hoping I'm not finished. I don't believe i have worked on Sue's yet. I'm really feeling like a lone quilter right now. Can't wait to see pictures of finished tops.

I am sorry tht you have no quilt to work on right now. I am almost done with yours. I have kept it simple. I really love your center, it is sooooo pretty!

Barbara, thank you for taking over the Robin, you've been very helpful! Although, it was more stressful for me than I imagined, I did learn a lot.
