I am working on a lovely block and hope I can do justice with my border but I will never sign up for a round robin again! I hate math. I have my husband figure the block size. I want to just follow a pattern of my choosing and be done with it.  Sorry ladies. It's not you, you're great. It's just me.

Jackie, I don't know how I'd do this without my EQ program. So if you don't have anything like that  , I can see why it would be so frustrating.

Exactly, Ginny! I don't have any programs like that. I draw it out on graph paper and then come as close as I can and then fudge my seams. Yes, it's very frustrating.

I am checking in and working on this border and have used a combination of by E6 program and also graph paper depends on what part of the border I am working on.

Just checking in with my status!  My husband has been working a turn around at his plant so it is like being a single parent for the last few weeks!!!  I'm hoping that they finish up this week!!!  My mother also had surgery last week.  She came through everything and got to go home on Saturday!!!  This along with work has delayed my progress on my borders.  I am back on track and hope to get them finished in the next two days!!!  I have been having fun with these projects and can't wait to see all the different quilts when they are finished!!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

I've been pretty quiet for a while and figured I'd better check in so you didn't all think I fell asleep at my machine!

I still have 2 quilts.  I do have the fabric for both, and the plan, but can't work on them with the granddaughters at home.  They want to play with my scraps, and there just isn't enough room to lay out what I need to get organized while they are playing next to me.  So I have been working on my DB's quilt that will require about 400 hsts!  I must be insane!  I do speed-piece them, but still!

Both the quilts I have are for group 4.  Nothing from my group 7 yet.  Kristin--are you still doing ok?

I'm hoping to have the ones I have done before the 23rd.  It will just depend on how long the parts take me to piece together.  Way tooo much fun, is all I can say!

I have Erin's quilt right now.  I have everything cut out for the border and hope to start sewing today.   Erin has requested that the top be returned to her once I finish so I will honor her request.  I hope everyone else is doing fine and that all the issues have been ironed out.

So I won't be doing the fourth border on Erin's quilt?  After I send you Zsofia's I will be done?  Interesting.

Hi everyone , this is to let all of you know that after this RR is finished  ,there will not be any going on during the summer months . For one reason  summer months just have to many vacations and activites ongoing ,and I t is difficult for many to keep up . I will be restarting the RR this fall  and I'm making this group a winter project. I am also going to do alittle revamping of the intstructions . I have made Administration aware of this .the Group will remain open for chatting  thru the summer . all good ideas are welcome .So lets finishe up this round and look foward to the fall coming to start again.  Barbara

I, for one, have truly enjoyed doing this round robin. I would love to do another one. I don't work, don't get to go on vacations and I don't have any small children at home any more. I don't even have grand children. Still, I'm OK with not doing one during the summer. I will go with the flow on anything. My point is that I am so looking forward to doing another one, whenever it is. Thank you so much Barbara for taking this on.

I don't have a EQ program (yet) and my math skills are at a 3rd grade level. (How I've sewn for 40 years, I will never know). Still I have enjoyed this so much, I'm ready to do another one now.

LaShawn

Erin had messaged me after her top was in the mail and asked me to just send it back to her.   I think she was feeling somewhat guilty over everything that had taken place in other groups.  I told her if that was what she wanted I would send it to her but I would be placing my border before sending it back to her.   I really think she was just really upset with all that had transpired and didn't want to make things worse.   I know that you would have gladly done her border but if it helps her to feel better I will honor her wishes.

it is what is, I'm officially done so I will wait until mine is returned to me.
