Brenda: Okay first let me tell you I'm getting to hate 1.5" squares, get that seam off just a eyelash and you are ripping out more than you have sewed all day. I should have my part ready to go in the post Thursday. After reading about how unappreciated the gifts you have made make me feel so sad. Right now I'm working on a lone star in solids for my daughter and her husband for their 10th anniversary, she has been waiting not so patiently for it as we picked the fabric out 2 years ago. My youngest son and his wife have picked out what they want and it was to be next. The grands have the fabrics picked out for their quilts too. It is funny as I can tell who has been in my room as to how the fabrics are laid out that day. They were laid out oldest to youngest but Erin bumped her sisters to behind her, then the youngest Donald came in and put his after his Aunt Tammy's so he would be next. Poor hubby's got pushed to the end. They just don't realize that Jared's ( first great gran) quilt will be done first. Guess I'm blessed. Thank you all so much.

Susie -- I have only one side left to put on Barbara's quilt center and then it will be ready to mail to you. I think I'll try the USPS mail-from-home thing. I like that better than racing to the PO on a Saturday when everybody and their dog are there.
I asked what kind of work you were looking for because my employer is hiring . . . but not for Accounting. Good luck on your recent interviews.
Susie: Kristin--I'm done with your block! It looks mah-velous, if I do say so myself. I think you are going to like it, and it's going to be easy for the others to have some fun as well. Carolyn--I should be able to get it to the post office tomorrow, so you should have it by Thursday. Happy Days! For those that asked, I do payroll. the job I've interviewed twice for is an Accounting position, doing AR/AP and Payroll. I'm really excited about it, and am hoping to hear something within the next few days.

Hi Brenda, just ckg...where do u live? C
As part of my son's therapy his neurologist said I should teach him to quilt. He added four borders around a panel. It totally looks like a Round Robin but he did it all himself. It's a whopping 89 X 95 inches big. When we added the last border it seemed liked he sewed forever! I am so proud of him. We finished it today.
KimSue I hope you post a picture of his quilt, love to see it. Meanwhile while I'm waiting for the next go round I've been working on a Blooming 9 patch.
Ginny, that is beautiful!! I really love it!
This is the best I could do for a picture with my limited photography / computer skills but here is a picture of Samuel's quilt. The white you see on the sides is actually full of signatures from his friends that visited, doctors and nurses from his hospital stay. I love it because he did it.
KimSue it is beautiful!

KimSue,
You should be beaming. What talent. I hope he continues.
Hi Barbara –
I just finished your quilt center and will be sending it off to Susie. I had a little trouble with your center. The center was not squared up when I received it, and in order for me to be able to work with it I had to trim it . . . which resulted in trimming off some of your beautiful border. I sincerely apologize if I ruined your quilt center. I think it still looks beautiful, and I LOVED working with all the colors you have in your quilt center. I hope you will be happy with the border I added.
KimSue, your son did a great job on his quilt.
Ginny L, beautiful quilt.
KimSue, Your son did great on his quilt. You and he must be proud.
Ginny, SO pretty. I love it!
Hi LIz!
I am ready for Sue's quilt top when ever you are ready to send it to me. I had fun working a design into my border for your center. I hope you like what I did. It was stressful trying to decided what to add- all half square triangles all around, all pinwheels, appliqued butterflies and dragon flies, flying geese, hmm....don't you wonder? Just as I am wondering what is being added to mine. LOL
Have a great day!
