Kristen

I am sorry but I can't help with this one.  My pics post the same way they are shown in my computer.  Now if I take a pic with the camera sideways to be able to get more length on my image it will post "sideways' on the site.

Kristin -

How do I go about posting an image to QCA and rotate it so it's right side up?

Everything I'm doing it's ending up upside down. ARGHHHHH

I find if I check how my picture looks before I before I post, then I am able to rotate first.

I think that's the only way to do it.  I know what you mean, it has happened to me, also!

When I take pics with my iPad or my phone they want to upload sideways or upside down. I found that if I take the picture a little farther away it usually ends up right.  But, second option is to rotate the picture in a photo editor before you upload it.  If you've tried all that  or the picture is correct when you start to upload, I have no idea..sorry.

Good luck!

So my power went out with a boom (blown transformer somewhere) at 3 am, then my fathers oxygen machine started beeping, i guess he slept thru it , so he didn't shut it off , it finally stopped after an hour, then the smoke alarm in our bedroom started beeping, go figure,  I got up at 4:30, since I wasn't sleeping anyway. I read by candle for 2 hrs , and then my hubby finally went out to boil water on the grill for tea. I had to babysit today, so came early so I could have my coffee, and read my email. Funny how dependent we are, I'm just glad it wasn't too cold last night, and that the baby doesn't notice I have on gray socks with brown pants, LOL

Sheesh, Ginny!  Is everything ok?  I hope the oxygen machine beeping is nothing major.  I have 2 medical devices, so I know they can beep for every little thing... (low battery, one piece too far away from the other, something to expire in 8 hours, etc. etc.)  So hopefully, it was a minor beep and not a major one.  And assuming the smoke alarm was a false alarm?  Also, that's a long time for your power to be out.  :-/

But seriously... I'm worried about those socks!!  Sheesh.

Oh poo...I had a full message typed out last night from my phone and it wouldn't post.  Darn it!

I'm sorry I've been away...but I'm ok.  I have a plan for Kristin's block but have to figure it out on paper.  I can't get the EQ to print the cutting instructions for my borders.  I'll take it out with me today to find the fabrics I need and should have it finished by the end of the weekend.

Carolyn--I'll let you know as soon as I have it finished so you have a heads up before I send it.

Kristin--Please hold off on the next block until next week.

Thanks for letting me know where you're at, Susie.  No need to apologize.  You're not late and I have plenty of other projects to keep me busy.  :)

Well, finished piecing and realized I mismeasured (grr- don't you hate that).  So, some adjustment is needed.  Should finish by the end of the week.
