I've been waiting all week to go to my quilt store, it's 45 minutes away, and I wanted to have all my ideas drawn up and measured . I hope they have something close to what I envision. I also am working on a blooming 9 patch, and need fabrics for that. Then I get to play all weekend!
Ginny sounds like fun. My LQS is closing (BOOHOO ) I was there yesterday ,and di buy alittle fabric. I am really going to miss this shop . Now I have to look for a new one . this has been two close down in 2 years . times are getting tuff for them. Barbara

I received Jackie's center block on Wed. Went to the quilt shop on Thurs., and finished her border today! (And it is not a simple border). I'm having company next week, and wanted to get it finished up and laid aside before then, so I don't have to worry about it! For once, I'm way ahead of the game!! Bev

How terrible!! My LQS is considering expanding if you feel like moving down to NC. Lol. They do sell and service Janomes! :)
well, started on Kristie's border and the idea I had just didn't come out like I thought, so tried a different one and still no good. Ended up running over to LGS and replacing one color and hope to work on it more tonight. I want it to be perfect and enhance - this is harder than I thought!

I know what you mean. I have gotten it figured out and two sides are ready to sew on, bought a FQ yesterday and I've got to go back on my lunch and buy another one today. Just lacking a couple of inches of this color. This one has given me some challenges because it's 26 inches square and I'm using a 6 inch block so had to figure out what to do with that extra two inches on each side to make the border come out right. Finally, figured out what I wanted to do this morning about 6 a.m., woke up at 3:30. Working 8-5 today and I really want to be home working on this!
