Candis:

Zsofia, What is your vision for your center? Share with us what you would like to see .

Thanks for the comments on my block! As for the rest of the quilt I want to keep it red and white. Any tone on tone or motled red will work with a white solid. Since red is one of my favorite colors I thought it woul be nice to have a "traditional red and white quilt". As for my vision on the borders: perhaps some floral appliqué, flying gees but I'm open for anything till it compliments the center.

All the center blocks are looking great! I especially like the Japanes block and the snowflake/feathered star ones.

csratz:

Hello.......I still do not know how to send "PMs" or any messages  to a particular person..I have gone to discussions and looked at the post your block area.  Is it true only three have been Posted?  I saw the teapot, the baskets and one which may have come from another RR.  I am sorry I am so confused about how to do this.  I do not know who is in my group or how to find out.

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 csratz-

  1. From your homepage, under your profile info is an area that will show MY CONVERSATIONS. If you do not see that, then you probably don’t have any PM.
  2. If you have not done so yet, you NEED to add Candis as a friend. To do that, you click on CANDIS’ name and when her profile page comes up you click ADD AS FRIEND next to her profile picture. From there you can request friendship and send her a message.  Candis will then send out group information after December 30th when the sign ups have closed.
  3. Also from YOUR homepage you need to click on FRIENDS and once that comes up, click on REQUESTS...you may have friends waiting to be approved.

Hope this helps.

Ginny, I love it, very pretty.  I'm getting excited and scared at the same time.  I wish I can do the centers justice, will be asking lots of questions because I want to get it right.

I am so frustrated with myself. I have pulled every pattern and book out to find some inspiration for my center block. After 3 days, I have narrowed it down to two. Still at a loss. Hopefully I will decide tomorrow and be done by the first. Will post a picture as soon as I can.

Heh Melissa if you type in medallion quilt images in your computer search engine there will be all kinds of images come up.  May give you some inspiration, click on the picture and it will take you to pattern or info,  I just like to look.   There are also free patterns on this site if your a paid member.  Then there is Quilters Cache. Any block can be resized to big as you want it.   I want something with colors pleasing to my eye I think for spring, summer.   That's when we will get them back.

Wow !  I am so impressed by the centers that are posted so far.  I hope mine lives up to the quality of these that I've seen so far.  I should have it posted by Monday.

Just Remember this is your center, your quilt. You only have to impress yourself!   Whatever pleases you is the right thing to do!   You only have to live up to your own expectations.      Now borders will be a different story, since you never know what style you will be working with. That will be the challenge, and the fun!

Thank you for the supportive and encouraging words. I get a little overwhelmed sometimes. If I put things away and sleep on it, I can usually start fresh the next day. I am so looking forward to this. Thank you again.
