I also have hankies that I have collected to make a quilt. Also have directions (somewheres) that uses them to make butterflies on the quilt. This is something I intend to make "one day", but don't know when.

My center block. I guess I would like mostly tans to browns and greens (neutrals), so it doesn't become too wild. But I do want some color! In whatever patterns would deem suitable. Just pretty much leave it up to whoever is working on it. Use your imagination.

I really like your Center Beverly! It is very pretty and creative. Appliqué would look great around that. Oh heck I could think of any technique that would look Todd! Great start for your group!

Marie- can you make your center a rectangle and tell your group to keep adding to it as a rectangle?? It really shouldn't be an issue.
