Quilt top completed! That striped fabric in the upper corner will be the binding.

As I considered names for this quilt, I couldn't decide between Secret of the Compass Rose, Red Diamond Mystery, Puzzle of the Pieced Parchment, and The Ninth Quilt. Since they all sounded like names for Nancy Drew mysteries, I started calling it the Nancy Drew Quilt. I may embroider  each of those names into the white and red 6" blocks!

Your quilt is beautiful,,I like the Red Diamond Mystery name ,the best ..Just my opinion.. Barbara

Shoshannah,

I wondered about the Nancy Drew name, but makes perfect sense now that you've explained.  I often wonder what everyone thinks of my "K" names.  Of course not everyone would know why that happens.  Of course my two quilts were named with "K" names that of course meant being hidden (wink).  Just like what you've done with Nancy Drew!  So clever...  Wonderful finish!

Love the colors, fabrics and especially the name! Since the Nancy Drew books were the mysteries that got me hooked on the genre, your choice made perfect sense to me. Wish I'd thought of it first :)

Thank you, everyone! The backing will be a deep rose-colored fabric that has a delicate white scroll pattern. It's really pretty AND it was on sale at my LQS! :)
