My blocks are all laid out...now if I can just get them all sewn together without turning any of them!
Really looks great, kundos for an excellent job.....
Thats aewsome! you"re so far ahead of the rest of us.
ummm, are some already turned?
Check it out before you stitch, the end row appears to be turned??????
Looking good , Barbara
Did you go scrappy with your #1 Fabric? Looks like you may have. If so one of the scrappy fabrics is too dark for the other fabrics of #1. Try to spread these blocks around a bit to distribute its use better throughout. This layout isn't giving you the secondary design that surrounds the "star" (Block Z). You might also try distributing differently the "star" to help distribute Blocks X and Y where the dark fabric #1 is used. Send us another photo.

I just noticed another difference with your #6 Fabric. Looks like you went scrappy with this one too. You are the scrappy gal :)! Moving your "star" (Block Z) around will help to achieve that secondary pattern. Give it a go...I'm up for the challenge...I'm sure our group is too!
I was a bit concerned about the secondary design. I have studied the layout, however without the play move factor I second the thoughts of Sandi. would it help if you moved the light block Y and/or X to suround the three block Zs that are the same fabrics used in the units and the corners?
Wish you had 4 of the darker blocks - the one with the corners matching the stars. Having 4 of each colorway allows you to form a balanced design and show an adaptation of the secondary design. My mind is always trying to rearrange blocks to make a pattern and this top has been swirling through my mind all night. I couldn't sleep ..... (a health problem, not the quilt)!
i love the fabrics you picked out for this, so cozy.
Really beautiful. Can't wait to finish mine once my machine can be picked up from service. Dealing with Irene aftermath now so now sure when that will be.
